You should know…
- The Dovetail Shoppe was founded to serve people who are too proud to ask for help from the clothing bank at Doorstep.
- Donations of clothing and household items come from Doorstep, garage sales and individuals.
- Besides clothing, there is an ever-popular "knick knack" room filled with dishes, small appliances, bedding, baskets, vases and books.
- You'll not find prices on these items. Volunteers hope for a fair
donation because all the proceeds go to Doorstep to buy food or fund
other needs.
- Dovetail Shoppe is run by 25 - 30 volunteers each month. The amazing lady in charge of the Dovetail Shoppe is Elaine Patton, volunteer manager. She is something else!
